Types of Water Heaters

Tankless (On-Demand) Water Heaters: These units heat water only when it's needed, providing an endless supply of hot water and improved energy efficiency. However, their performance can be influenced by the incoming water temperature, which is lower in colder climates. It's important to ensure that the selected tankless water heater can meet the household's peak hot water demands, especially during the winter months.

Storage (Tank-Type) Water Heaters: These are the traditional water heaters, consisting of a large tank that stores and heats water. They are available in various sizes, typically ranging from 20 to 80 gallons, and can be powered by natural gas, electricity, oil, or propane. In colder climates like Northern Colorado, gas-powered storage water heaters are often preferred due to their quick recovery rates, which are essential during the region's frigid winters.
